Breads, beer, pies, puddings and other products are easily made from America’s wild persimmons. This persimmon beer is made from the seeds, skin and clinging pulp after most of the pulp was extracted for use in persimmon bread. The beer has a bit of citrus taste, is very light, non-filling and was fermented to the point of almost being wine, having lost much of its carbonation. This beer does not cause the bloated feeling caused by the carbonation found in conventional beers.
